When it comes to on-screen holiday merriment, we get a whole lotta animated flicks, holiday whobilation (my fave!) and way too many Lifetime dramas to capture the most wonderful time of the year on film. That’s all fine and good, but what’s missing, you might ask? The answer is obviously pugs.
When was the last time you saw a Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, winter solstice or even Christmahanakwanzika film starring one of those cute little smush-faced pups? I’ll save you some time wracking your brain because the answer, unfortunately, is never. Until now, that is!
Welcome to the world, Home Alone (Pug Puppy Version).
Watch what happens when rolly poly pug puppy Kevin gets grounded and left home for the holidays, leaving the little guy to his own furry devices when the bad guys come around to ruin Christmas. Ultimately, the plot involves a whole lot of extreme cuteness, funny pug hats, puppy naps and Kevin’s long-awaited snuggly reunion with mama pug (phewf!).
Watch for yourself and breathe a sweet sigh of yuletide relief, because the missing piece to the holiday movie puzzle has finally been found.
