I just moved into a new apartment which has hardwood floors throughout the family room and kitchen. I love the look of hardwood but in order to keep them looking shiny and new, you have to sweep them often. My sister snagged a pair of these microfiber slippers called Slipper Genie for $7.99 at Marshalls (they were the last pair so good luck finding cute ones with bows!). Since we’re all in a time crunch nowadays, as you’re running around prepping for work or putting away groceries, your feet slide around the floor and grab a hold of dust and dirt on the ground. The best part is, the bottoms are Velcro so they peel off and can be thrown in the wash. Call ‘em “gimmicky” but they actually do work! I know it’s early to start thinking about the holidays, but this is one of my picks for a fun grab bag gift or stocking stuffer this year.
